Our Florentines begin life as a rich toffee caramel, generously dosed with lots of butter and lashings of cream. Into this our chocolatiers add crisp almonds, plump glacé cherries and a little candied citrus peel, and then bake into little discs and give each one a generous layer of Grand Cru Swiss dark chocolate.

A mouthwatering, lip-smacking combination of the rich, the sweet and the chocolatey – the perfect treat to take to a party, serve after dinner or simply enjoy with a cup of tea.

'Many retailers have their own version of florentines, but they taste nothing like these rich and chewy morsels from this long-established family business. Made from cherries, citrus peels and almonds in caramel toffee, they are then set into top-notch Venezuelan Criollo chocolate. These are perfect for taking along to a dinner party.'
