What began in our first Café Tea Room in the 1920s has been one of our most treasured traditions ever since, the ritual of turning tea and cake into a feast fit for the most special of occasions. Our founder Frederick worked by the mantra ‘fresh and dainty’, and nowhere is this more evident than at Bettys Afternoon Tea.
Our Afternoon Tea Gift Box contains freshly baked sultana scones and Yorkshire Classic Strawberry Preserve, delicately hand-iced Fondant Fancies, a lusciously creamy Raspberry & Vanilla Loaf Cake and a box of dainty Macarons.
To drink, the ‘Champagne’ of teas, Afternoon Darjeeling, the classic accompaniment prized for its elegance and refreshment; a delicate tea we recommend you enjoy without milk.
Each box contains a generous feast for four or up to six if you’re happy to share; simply add your favourite ‘fresh and dainty’ sandwiches, pick up a pot of clotted cream, polish your good plates and pop the kettle on.
