The summer months are fast approaching and what better way to celebrate than with some alfresco dining? Whether you're planning a picnic in the park or a chilled-out evening in your own back garden, dining under blue skies and sunshine makes everything taste just that extra bit more delicious. And to make outdoor eating even easier, we’ve launched our very own made to order Afternoon Tea and Picnic Boxes. So grab a blanket, pack a basket and head outside for a real taste of summer.

Afternoon Tea To Go

Bettys Afternoon Tea to Go service is the perfect way to indulge in our world-renowned afternoon tea from the comfort of your own home – or wherever else you lay your tablecloth. Our delicately hand-crafted cakes, scones and sandwiches are the perfect accompaniment to a relaxing afternoon. With Afternoon Tea to Go, you can enjoy this quintessentially British tradition wherever and whenever you choose: picnicking in the park, welcoming guests in the garden or enjoying tea and cake in front of the fire.

We have a range of different options to suit everyone's tastebuds, with Traditional and Vegetarian Afternoon Tea available to order. In both selections you will receive a classic selection of dainty Afternoon Tea sandwiches, a sultana scone with clotted cream & strawberry preserve and the most delectable assortment of cakes: orange slice, coconut & lime battenberg and chocolate cube.

Both Traditional and Vegetarian Afternoon Tea are available to order at £17 per person. Just call 0800 456 1919 at least four days ahead so we can make sure they’re in stock and reserved for you to collect from one of our five Café Tea Rooms. There’s limited daily availability, so order early to make sure you don’t miss out.

Picnic Box

Looking for the perfect picnic solution? Look no further than the Bettys Picnic Box. From homemade sandwiches to delicious cakes, our picnic boxes are packed with scrumptious treats that are ideal for any outdoor adventure. Inside, for each person you’ll find sandwiches made with bread from our Craft Bakery and a selection of mouth-watering fillings, a freshly baked Wensleydale & watercress quiche, a Fondant Fancy and a Bettys sultana scone with butter and strawberry preserve.

Both Traditional and Vegetarian Picnic Boxes are available to order at £15 per person or £30 for two. Just call 0800 456 1919 at least four days ahead to reserve your choice. And for that extra level of alfresco comfort and ease, our Bettys cool bag and picnic blanket can add that luxurious finishing touch to your outdoor or at home Bettys experience.
