The perfect meringue is within your grasp on this one-day course dedicated to baked sweet treats that are too good to keep to yourself. With guidance from our expert tutors you will make a hazelnut meringue roulade filled with homemade orange curd and orange Chantilly cream. You will also learn a range of traditional techniques as you make a Yorkshire Honey & Apricot Bakewell tart, making your own sweet pastry, blind baking the delicate casing and filling it with frangipane. At the end of the course you will take home your finished Bakewell tart along with your roulade, which will be ready to put the final decorative touches to before serving with a flourish to friends and family.
