Master the pastry skills behind a host of savoury delights in this one-day course. Working with the guidance of our expert tutors, you will learn the technique of hot water crust pastry to make individual pork pies with a classic crimped top, sliced apple set in cider jelly and a savoury blue cheese crumble. You will also discover the secrets of perfect shortcrust pastry as you make hand-turned half-moon pasties filled with a hearty mix of beef and vegetables. At the end of the course you will take home your pies and pasties, ready to tuck into or share.
