A supremely buttery biscuit that turns an afternoon cuppa into a little moment of bliss. We’ve been baking our Yorkshire Shortbread to the same simple yet irresistible recipe for many years. The secret to its exquisite flavour, as with so much that comes from our Craft Bakery, is using real butter and being wonderfully generous with it. Combined with over a century of baking expertise, this creates perfectly rich, melt-in-the-mouth biscuits with a delicate crumb and no shower of crumbs. While these buttery biscuits need little more than a pot of good tea for company, our Yorkshire Shortbread also makes a delectable accompaniment to chocolate mousse, lemon posset or a seasonal fruit fool, from gooseberry to Yorkshire rhubarb.
