You will learn key confectionery skills as you create two indulgent desserts designed to finish any dinner party on a high. You will make an Engadine Torte, a classic Swiss speciality of delicate hazelnut meringue layered with smooth almond buttercream and finished with a crown of toasted almond Médicis. You will also prepare a Gâteau l’Opéra featuring light almond sponge gently infused with coffee, enriched with coffee buttercream and topped with a glossy layer of Swiss dark chocolate ganache.
