Bursting with festive flavours, this fruity, all-butter loaf cake offers a lighter but delicious alternative to Christmas cake for winter teatimes and elevenses. It’s packed with candied orange zest and tangy cranberries that have been soaked in orange juice, plus a helping of seasonal spices. Hand decorated with nibbed sugar, it’s perfect enjoyed with tea or even a warming mug of mulled wine.
