Drawing upon on our 100 years of baking expertise, this rich, dark plum cake is made using a sumptuous selection of ingredients. Prunes, raisins, sultanas and dried cranberries soaked in an oatmeal stout and lemon juice, and combined with almonds, muscovado sugar, treacle, cinnamon and nutmeg. A wonderful gift for sending, it is presented in our centenary design tin featuring elegant calligraphy by Peter Horridge and an illustration by Emily Sutton, depicting our six much-loved Café Tea Rooms.
