How to make the world’s best milkshake
When the sun is shining, there's no better way to cool down than with a rich and creamy chocolate milkshake. Made with our luxurious Swiss hot chocolate and generous scoops of ice cream, this indulgent recipe transforms a much-loved winter favourite into the perfect summer treat.
- (Serves two)
- 70g Bettys Swiss dark chocolate granules
- 100ml whole milk
- 300ml whole milk
- Two scoops of vanilla ice cream
- Two scoops of chocolate ice cream
- Two long drinking straws

Method
- Step 1:In a heavy-based saucepan bring the first measure of milk to a simmer.
- Step 2:Place the hot chocolate granules into a one litre jug and pour over the hot milk. Whisk until the granules have dissolved and the colour is even. The chocolate milk can be cooled down at this stage.
- Step 3:Pour in the second measure of milk and add the vanilla ice cream.
- Step 4:With a handheld blender, mix the ingredients together to form a frothy milkshake.
- Step 5:Divide the milkshake between two 250ml glasses.
- Step 6:Place a scoop of chocolate ice cream on top of each and sprinkle with a few Bettys hot chocolate granules. Add the drinking straws and serve immediately.
