Most tea buyers agree that the very finest teas in the world come from Darjeeling in the north east corner of India, bordering Nepal. The tea gardens are set amongst steeply terraced hills at altitudes of up to 7,000 feet. The cool, clear air allows the tea bushes to grow slowly, imparting a wonderful, muscatel flavour. Our tea buyers travel the world to some of the most remote tea gardens and select the finest hand-plucked teas.
