Bettys French 75 Cocktail
Ingredients
- 25 ml lemon syrup (this is for 1 drink)
- 25 ml Harrogate tipple gin.
- 125 ml of Collet brut champagne
Ingredients for the lemon sugar syrup
- 75ml water
- 75g caster sugar
- 150ml lemon juice
Method
- Step 1:Heat 75ml water with 75g caster sugar and 150ml lemon juice in a pan.
- Step 2:ring to a boil and then remove from the heat and let it cool to room temperature before putting in the fridge.
- Step 3:Makes 300ml of sugar syrup and can be stored in the fridge for up to 1 month.
- Step 4:Combine the gin, lemon syrup and lemon juice into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Step 5:Shake well and then strain into a chilled champagne glass.
- Step 6:Top with the Champagne.
