Served every Saturday and Sunday from 12.30pm, Afternoon Tea in the Imperial Room or the Belmont Room is time for you to indulge, enjoy beautiful surroundings and good company, and to experience Yorkshire hospitality with the attention to detail that comes from being our valued guests.
As our cafe pianist plays, you will be invited to choose from a selection of rare and speciality teas, whilst being delighted by a gleaming silver cake stand laden with dainty sandwiches, freshly baked miniature scones and exquisite handmade cakes. Book your perfect afternoon tea at Bettys for £25.95 or add a glass of champagne to your afternoon for £32.95.
Belmont Room
Step into the Belmont Room in York and be surrounded by Queen Mary-inspired Art Deco elegance. Our afternoon tea has always been special, but in the Belmont Room it truly becomes an occasion to remember.
Imperial Room
Our Imperial Room in Harrogate provides a backdrop of elegance and charm with unrivalled views of Montpellier Gardens and Harrogate Town Centre, idyllic surroundings for your decadent afternoon tea experience.

Both the Imperial Suite at Bettys Harrogate and Belmont Room at Bettys York are available for private hire outside the times for afternoon tea. You and your guests can enjoy an exclusive sitting of Afternoon Tea in our two unique venues – a glorious way to celebrate any occasion.
For smaller gatherings, Afternoon Tea can also be served in the Imperial Meeting Room, Harrogate which accommodates up to 30 guests in beautiful surroundings, with panoramic views over Harrogate’s historical centre and the Stray.
