At Bettys we’re very fortunate to have a treasure trove of talented bakers and expert chefs. Our tutors will help you master everything from bread-baking to chocolate-making, or from one-pot wonders to lavish four-course meals.

As well as the wide variety of cooking courses that reflect our Swiss-Yorkshire roots, we also offer a range of technical classes that focus on improving specific abilities, like perfecting your knife skills.

Only the Best Will Do

Appropriately for Bettys, we’ve equipped our Cookery School to the highest standard. Our light and airy building is home to a state-of-the-art kitchen with a large demonstration area and plasma screen. You’ll find us in Harrogate, next door to our Craft Bakery.

We’re passionate about sharing our interest in food with children too, particularly by working with local schools and hosting school holiday courses.
