Belmont Room
Our Belmont Room at Bettys in York offers a magnificent setting, accommodating dinners for up to 75 guests and cocktail parties for up to 90 guests. After sailing on the Queen Mary cruise liner’s maiden voyage in 1936, our founder, Frederick Belmont, was so impressed he commissioned the same designers to work their art deco magic on the first floor of Bettys York. It wasn’t long before the Belmont Room was the talk of the town, and it’s every bit as spectacular today.
Imperial Room
The Imperial Room upstairs at Bettys in Harrogate has now been returned to its former glory following extensive refurbishment, which included restoring the beautiful 1920s plasterwork and oak fittings. Our Imperial Room is suitable for breakfasts, luncheons or dinners for up to 64 guests and cocktail parties for up to 100 guests. Offering a beautiful setting for a smaller event, our Imperial Meeting Room is ideal for private meetings or more intimate lunches, dinners for up to 20 guests or cocktail parties for up to 40 guests. It can be used singly or in combination with the Imperial Room.
