On this mouth-watering demonstration event you’ll see how we turn ingredients from the Bettys Cookery School garden into a stunning three-course lunch – which you then get to enjoy! We’ll also offer advice on how to grow herbs, edible flowers and other ingredients in your own garden. You won’t be cooking, so you can simply sit back, enjoy the spectacle and learn some simple, handy cooking tips courtesy of our experienced tutor.
A starter of roasted heirloom tomato, garlic & thyme tarte tatin with Yorkshire honey. Topped with basil & lime sorbet and edible flowers.
A main course of fragrant marinated rack of lamb and rose & harissa crème fraîche, with fine green beans, toasted hazelnuts and ginger & citrus dressing. Served with lemon & watercress potato gnocchi.
A dessert of poached rhubarb & ginger with raspberry ripple meringues and rose & lemon cream. Served with Bettys strawberry ice cream, fresh raspberries, rhubarb & ginger syrup, and edible flowers. A glass of Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore with rhubarb & ginger syrup.
At the end of the day you’ll be given a recipe folder so you can make the same meal at home to delight friends and family.
