Bettys Café Tea Rooms, Northallerton Northallerton is a traditional Yorkshire market town, nestling between the Yorkshire Dales and North Yorkshire Moors. This is where you’ll find our most northerly branch, sited in a Grade II listed building. Located on the wide Georgian High Street – which is particularly busy during the Wednesday and Saturday markets – Bettys Café Tea Rooms in Northallerton is a perfect base for exploring James Herriot country. Walk through our well-stocked shop and you’ll find an elegant Café and ‘Palm Room’, with a domed glass roof, huge window mirrors and a 3 metres tall Chusan Palm. During the warmer months you can enjoy afternoon tea ‘al fresco’ in our walled Courtyard.
